Mojo, They truly don't have anything this year. All those underclassmen up and moved to Southlake to play on a winning team. Good one.

With Kenny Hill coming back the only thing I can see stopping them is a team with a ball control offense and a FAST defense. Right now Trinity and Allen fit the bill but time will tell. Keep Kenny off the field and score on long drives. SLC will be good, considering the new powerful district they are in. I'm glad we will not have to play them, because we have nothing this year.

Arlington Bowie in the 1st round, then play out west only to come back and play Trinity. Southlake does have a good team though and will be tested early in the playoffs. Have you been drinking? Maybe living under a rock? SLC has much of their same team back from '11 that won state. They lose a few good defensive players and a few WR's, but otherwise they are back with the same team. I have little doubt they can plug in some guys to make up for their few graduated starters. Not to just hand them a title, but they should definitely be among the favorites. Huh, Carroll returns 4 players on offense and 2 on defense. None of this years wide receivers received any significant playing time last year. Crockett started the year at WR and then was moved to reserve CB. Kenny, AJ and 2 OL return on offelnse. On defense Jacobson and Dickey return. We replace all 4 LB's. Mitchell played a lot before being hurt in the Guyer game, the other ILB was a RB last year and both OLB's are new. We also have to replace both corners and a safety. So we actually have very little from last years team coming back, however the JR's and Soph's were two of the best classes to come through Carroll in a very long time. The kids stepping up have looked very good in the spring but most played JV or Freshmen ball last year and have little to no varsity experience other than running through the helmet in the playoffs if they got moved up. I am very optimistic about this season but a lot needs to be done during 2 a days to get ready for the regular season. Coming out against Allen is a rough test considering in the Hal era we start out the season very slow and take some time to hit our stride and this year may not be much different with replacing so many players. Replacing 2 DI wideouts a DI OL, a DI LB and probably the second best LB corp in the state next to Skyline is difficult. Carroll is getting rated too high in my opinion and much of that has to do with our past accomplishments and of course returning State Champions. To say we return a bunch of kids from last season is just flat wrong. Not even close to accurate.

A few people put some "stuff" out (right or wrong) and the rest pile on. I believe it make the fans of some teams happy to "help" put the target on another teams back. Some teams are still "looking for respect" and get jealous of not being ranked high enough. Being a Trinity fan, I am so thankful that SLC has their WHOLE team back from last year! ;D
