Will Turner even have a game where they lose by less than 3 TD's?

I was thinking who is Will Turner, wasn't he in The Pirates of the Carrabean?

Will Turner even have a game where they lose by less than 3 TD's? I'm gonna have to say no. Irving actually has a pretty much gaurenteed win on their schedule now.

Turner will have a tough time.
This is a strange district line-up. You have Trinity, Bell, CHHS, and Grapevine all long-time rivals from Tarrant County with the Irving schools and Turner from Dallas County.
Trinity and CHHS have to be the favorites with Bell, Grapevine, and the Irving schools fighting for the other two playoff spots.
I have no idea which Irving school has the most returning lettermen. Usually one of those schools is much better than the others.
Grapevine is improving each year because Henigan has done a good job building the JV, freshman, and middle school programs, but the Mustangs just don't have the numbers.
CHHS has a terrific program and has had great QB's. Those QB's have been the difference makers for the Panthers for the last 5 years.
This may be the year CHHS beats Trinity for the district title. The Panthers have a much better QB who almost beat the Trojans last year. That is definitely the district game of the year!

I would favor the Tarrant County schools over the Dallas County schools for the playoffs spots. Turner and Irving are, well, hopeless. Nimitz is a team that really isn't that good, but can sneak up and beat a better team from time to time. Mac is like many other teams loaded with athletes that underachieve based on their talent level. Grapevine is up and coming. Bell is up and coming, but has been up and coming longer. Bell could be a spoiler if Trinity or Heritage take them lightly. Trinity is Trinity. Colleyville Heritage is good, but they always seem to underachieve. They have been in the playoffs many years with very few wins. Do they have the Defense to go with that offense?

That's the $64,000 question with CHHS. Their defense let them down against Trinity last year.

I've been surprised by Trinity's defense the past two years. They do well in district (for the most part) then fail the Trojans in the playoffs. Two years ago the Coppell game was a barnburner and so was the title game against Pearland.
Trinity could not stop Pearland in the second half in 2010. Great offensive effort by the Trojans, poor defense in the Deathstar.

So close yet so far for the Trojans, but 3 titles and on more title appearance- must work some of the time.

Their last TD was helped out by two 15 yard penalties against Trinity. Trinity Had nearly double the fist downs (24-13), more than double the yardage (528-260), and held Allen to less than 200 yards passing on 48% completion.

I think Trinity is a bad matchup for Colleyville. Actually, come to think of it, Trinity is a bad matchup for most teams.

Bell, CHHS and ET will be the top 3 teams. I'm anxious to see how it plays out. The game of the season could be the final week of district with CHHS and Bell potentially playing for the title.
